FREE CHECKLIST for travelling on a family holiday with a BABY what to pack
Ok so as far as packing goes it can be disastrous if you forget something and when you have a family to think about it can get quite hectic so I’ve devised a checklist you can print out and keep hold off to make sure your holiday runs smoothly.
Spoons and a bowl
Baby brush/ comb
Baby nail scissors/ clippers
SPF 50 sunscreen
Swim jacket (for added warmth)
A few warmer outfits just in case
Medication- paracetamol, neurofen, gripe water, teething gel are my basics then any added medications for your child
First aid kit
Light weight Buggie
Bath products and shampoo
As you can see babies need the most things and it’s so easy to forget things.
TOP TIP- babies only get 10kg allowance in their suitcase and obviously they need much more than this. So unfortunately this means our suitcases need to contain less and I always try to get one other case to 10kg.
To help with this I’d highly recommend buying whatever you can from Boots online and you have the option at the checkout to collect from the Boots store at the airport (just check before you do it but it’s definitely the case at Manchester Airport UK).
Top tip- always have a bottle ready made for take off and landing. This stops their little ears from hurting and is also a great soother for when they feel the change in pressure onboard.
Tips to find fake reviews is another great source to check out before planning your holiday abroad.
