My boyfriend and I decided to try Ciao Bella earlier this week for some Italian food. We usually eat Italian food around once a week and we have visited several different Italian restaurants previously.
The whole experience at Ciao Bella was truely amazing. The authentic atmosphere made us feel as though we were in the heart of Italy and the service from the waiter/ chef Fabio was spot on. Fabio made us feel at ease from the minute we walked In with his friendliness and the food was sensational. We both had the vegetable starter with roasted veg, tomato based sauce covered in melted cheese- it sounds so simple but it truely was beautiful. I imagined eating it at home whilst watching a movie as it is definitely comfort food and great for when it’s cold outside.
For our main courses he chose the classic Spaghetti Bolognase to be able to compare it to others he’s tried. And he said it was the best he’s ever tried.
I had the beef pasta in red wine and mushroom sauce. It tasted absolutely gorgeous and the chef even made it without mustard in for me as I’m not too keen on mustard.
For dessert, we both had tiramisu which was out of this world it tastes just like it does in Italy.
We will most definitely returning to Ciao Bella in the near future (based on Portland St, Manchester.
